1. How to apply

(1) A copy of the attached application from should be filled in for submission.
(2)The application should be accompanied by the following supporting documents:
i.   Scanned copy of the applicant’s original passport;
ii.   Scanned copies of the applicant’s academic certifications or the latest relevant school transcripts;
iii.   Letters of recommendation from two associate professors;
iv.   Results of HSK language proficiency test, as applicable.
The application of all overseas students to STU is handled by the International Cooperation Department (ICD).
The completed application form and all supporting documents should be submitted to  icd@stu.edu.cn

Academic Term:
Autumn semester:September to January
Spring semester: March to July

Undergraduate To Qualify

Prospective applicants should have at least a recognized high school qualification, as determined by Shantou University.

Chinese language proficiency

Applicants whose first language is not Chinese must demonstrate competency in the Chinese language. This requirement can be met by obtaining at least a Level 4 pass at the HSK language proficiency test. Students who do not have the required HSK qualification at the time of application may take an entrance examination conducted by the STU Chinese Language Test Center.

Post-Graduate

Prospective applicants should have at least a recognized Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent educational qualification),as determined by Shantou University.
