The registration process for the exchange student program between Cheung Kong School of Journalism and Communication and University of Macau for the fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year has officially begun. The Journalism College will select two students to study at The University of Macau for one semester in the fall. Recommended students will be exempt from tuition fees at The University of Macau, but other expenses need to be borne by themselves.
1. Selection target:
Undergraduates of the 2022 and 2023 grades from Cheung Kong School of Journalism and Communication
2. Basic selection criteria:
1) Possess good political and ideological qualities and political performance, act in accordance with words, maintain a correct style, seek truth from facts, abide by laws and disciplines, and have no illegal or disciplinary violations;
2) Possess good English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills: those with excellent IELTS scores or CET-6 scores are preferred;
3) Possess solid professional knowledge, with a total GPA ranking in the top 40% within the major;
4) Actively participate in and serve college affairs and activities, with strong communication and expression skills;
5) Have an outgoing personality and strong abilities to adapt to new learning environments and handle problems encountered during overseas studies;
6) Under the same conditions, priority will be given to students who have not participated in overseas public-funded exchange programs organized by the school or college.
3. Application Materials:
1) Project Application Form (Annex 1);
2) Proof of English proficiency;
3) Transcripts of academic achievements in both Chinese and English during school years;
4) Personal resume.
