The Research Center for International Communicationof Chinese Culture at Shantou University was establisnedin May 2024 as a Guangdong Provincial Social ScienceResearch Base. The center focuses on the theoretical andpractical research of international communication ofChinese culture in the new era. Its research centers onthree key areas: the overseas dissemination and influenceof Chinese culture, media and overseas Chinese communities,and the intersection of outbound economy and internationalcommunication.
